Built On Service.
Driven By Purpose.
Frontline CPR & First Aid was founded by Gabe and Melissa Santa Cruz — a Marine Corps veteran, active duty firefighter, and licensed EMT, and his wife — on a simple belief: the Temecula Valley deserved better CPR training than it was getting. Since 2021 we've been proving it, one class at a time.
Two Tours Of Service.
One Mission.
Gabe didn't come to CPR training through a certification course. He came to it through nearly two decades of service — first as a U.S. Marine, then as an active duty firefighter. These skills aren't academic to him. They're part of the job.
After years of responding to cardiac and medical emergencies on duty, Gabe saw something that bothered him. The CPR training available to local businesses, schools, and healthcare teams in the Temecula Valley was inconsistent at best — taught by people who had learned the material in a classroom and passed it along the same way. There was a real gap between what people were being taught and what actually happens in an emergency.
"I kept thinking — if someone in my family needed CPR and the only person available had taken one of these classes, would I feel confident? The honest answer was no. That's why we started Frontline."
In 2021, Gabe and Melissa launched Frontline CPR & First Aid with a clear purpose: deliver AHA-certified training grounded in real emergency experience, bring it directly to the people who need it, and take the administrative burden of compliance off their plates entirely. Four years later, that mission hasn't changed.
As parents of two daughters, Gabe and Melissa understand better than most what it means to trust the people responsible for your children. That perspective shapes every class they teach — particularly when training the teachers, childcare workers, and school staff who watch over other people's kids every day.
Gabe handles all instruction and operations for Frontline CPR. As an active duty firefighter, licensed EMT, and Marine Corps veteran, he brings a level of real-world credibility to CPR training that simply cannot be replicated in a classroom.
When Gabe teaches CPR, he teaches it the way it's actually performed — because he performs it. That difference is something every student notices, and why so many describe Frontline as the best CPR class they've ever taken.
Don't let the background fool you — Gabe's classes are known for being relaxed, fun, and genuinely engaging. He uses humor, storytelling, and real-world scenarios to make otherwise dry material stick. Your team won't dread it. They'll talk about it.
Melissa runs everything behind the scenes that makes Frontline work seamlessly for clients. From scheduling classes and coordinating logistics to submitting student paperwork, ensuring AHA cards are issued on time, and managing customer relationships — Melissa is the reason the Frontline experience feels effortless.
Her attention to detail and commitment to client service is also what makes Frontline's certification record management so reliable. When you trust Frontline to track your team's certifications, Melissa is the one making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
The Standards We
Hold Ourselves To.
These aren't marketing talking points. They're the values that shaped eighteen years of military and fire service — and that now define every class we teach.
Serious Skills. Fun Classes.
CPR training doesn't have to feel like a lecture. Gabe's classes are deliberately relaxed, engaging, and fun — because research backs what he's seen firsthand: people retain information better when they're laughing than when they're stressed.
Expertise Over Credentials
Anyone can get certified to teach CPR. Not everyone can teach it with the authority of someone who has responded to real cardiac emergencies. We lead with knowledge, not just paperwork.
Service First
Eighteen years of military and fire service instilled a simple truth: you show up, you do the work, you take care of people. That ethic is woven into everything we do at Frontline.
Reliability Without Exception
When you book Frontline CPR, we show up prepared, on time, and ready. When we say we'll track your certifications and send renewal reminders, we mean it. No exceptions.
Community Over Transaction
We live and work in this community. Our kids go to school here. Every business and school we train is a neighbor. That's not a pitch — it's why we care about doing this right.
Simplicity For Our Clients
Compliance and certification management shouldn't be a burden. We take the complexity off your plate so you can focus on running your business or school.
No Compromise On Quality
AHA certification is our standard because it's the gold standard. Every technique we teach is the same one used in real emergency responses. We don't cut corners — ever.
Rooted In The
Temecula Valley.
Frontline CPR isn't a franchise or a corporate training company. We're a family business based in Menifee, serving the community we live in. That matters to us in a way that's hard to quantify — and something our clients feel from the first interaction.
When a local business, school, or healthcare practice trusts us with their team's safety training, we take that personally. Because this is our home too.
